Getbackers current Manga picture summary update Ch. 71-75.

Disclaimer - I do not own getbackers I am just supporting interest in the story. Also this is just a picture summary with my conclusions drawn from those pictures, as I can read very little Japanese. Also sorry for my spelling I barely have time to post this at the moment, so I am not spending an hour spell checking...take what ya can get. -sorry-
Warning - Spoliers...ooooooh I love spoilers...slight yuri(?),violence, and my mild cursing at Kagami.


Ch. 71 ( I am in soooo much pain....yes this is a explanatory chapter with little action ie... no going though the great ying yang doors..)
Masaki explains much about the Brain Tust and his actions in it. There is some remenisence of the volts days and relif that Karou wakes up ok. Hevn however falls ill, probably due to her fragile state from stopping Masaki and not being used to the preasure of the higher floors in the limitless fortress. Masaki is worried.
Ch.72
Masaki continues telling the Getbackers about the sceintist of the brain trust and the damage being done to the fortress. Ginji looks out a window to see the outside of the fortress being turned into a dessert wasteland. Makubex feels his pain adn worries too as he consults "the clock". Meanwhile Emishi, Ren, and the rest of Shido's tribe are continuing to battle their way though the dying fortress. It seems that some of the residences have sought shelter in the higher levels as the lower levels continue to errode. The group also looks outside the walls to see the dilapidated fortress, Sakura begins to cry and think of Makubex and all they have worked for.

Back with the getbackers, they seem set to continue on leaving Hevn in Masaki's care and determinded to pass though the doors to babylon. Hevn is once again worried about them; like the last tiem she saw them enter the limitless fortress for the first time. She turns to Masaki but he can offer no comfort as he seems just as concerned. There seems to be much harder battles ahead.

Ch. 73 (yeah.. we are going through the damn doors!!!!!...oh yeah, and all hell breaks loose....)
Ban retrieves his snake key and tuns to Ginji to assure he is ready for whatever comes at them next. They smile to one anonter and each place a hand on opposite sides of the ying yang door. It opens, setiing off a large chain reaction through out the fortress, everyone is aware of this occurance. Meanwhile a still silent Himiko awaits her fate with Kagami. Kagami offers some words to her about the event soon to come and goes to touch her but is set back by a flash of light that envelopes Himiko. In the light appears Himiko's brother Yamato's spirit. He reaches for Himiko in attempt to awaken her from her dormant state. Life reaches Himiko's eyes again and she regains her will to fight, quickly attacking Kagami. This only amuses Kagami who seems to know it is too late. He holds her down, actually sitting on top of her until her other self emerges form the mirror. (see he is being an ass, yet he seems sad too...) Himiko cries thinking of her times with Ban and her brother. Himiko's other self kisses Himiko and they become one. Himiko now has long hair,stars on both of her cheeks, and seems to be in a trance.


Elsewhere Teshimine stops in his tracks as his guide suddenly reacts to Himikos change and seems to change himself. He is wrapped in light and a written curse or spell.

When the light dissaperars the Voodoo King is left. For the first time he is shown without his cloak, and reaveals that he has three stigmas, making him very powerfull.

Ch.74
Teshmine and the Voodo King exchange words. There is referance to Ginji and Teshimine is not happy. With Tonfas ready he is the first to strike. Immedantly he takes a very bad hit and realizes just how powerfull the Voodoo King is. The Voodoo King powers up for a lager attack and Teshimine thinks of Ginji. In valiant effort Emishi, Sakura, Ren, and Shido's tribe all swoop in for a rescue in a single large attack on the Voodoo King.

Teshimini tries warns them to leave, but it is too late as the Voodoo King unleahes a viloent attack at them all. This large impact immediantly makes Ginji sick as he feels it all and is scared for his friends.

But there is little time to act as Kagami appears to toss out a seeminly useless now, Himiko to Ban. Ban catches her limp body and is quiet. Ginji however is pissed and yells to Kagami. Elsewhere in a lab or the Voodoo King Shido reacts in full Chimera form. He rips his chains and bonds and tries to destroy the lab. However the Voodoo King effortlessly takes him out and takes the second key from Shido's chest. At home Madoka cries as Shido says her name just before passing out. There is a large two page spread of Emishi, Sakura, Teshime, and Shido tribe all left K.O. from the Voodoo King.
Ch.75

Things don't look good for the getbackers, so far the Voodoo Kning is succeeding with his plan and seems to be awaiting the Getbackers next. There is a short scene with a distrought Madoka and a worried Natsumi and Rena as the fortress is enveloped in light. Just then the Honky Tonk gets a mysterious customer who seems to be holding a monk or shamans staff with his hand whapped in a paper scroll or spell much like Ban's was when he was younger. Back to the Getbackers Ginji is ready to go charge Kagami but Ban graps his wrist to stop him. Ban is still sileint for a bit, but reluctantly speaks to stop Ginji and try to calm him down. It seems Ban tells Ginji to let him deal with Kagami and go on ahead wiht Maria and Paul. Ginji respods in a sad "Ban-chan..." and Kagami seems to try to rile them up again (such an ass really...), Paul encourages Ginji to listen to Ban and he leaves as Ban has asked. Running ahead Ginji is still upset at all that is happening, he is feeling quite at a loss and worried the most for Ban. ( I think as he is loosing what seems like everything, he realy hates to leave Ban's side at this time, and does not want to loose Ban too. Or he feel like he has let Ban down in getting back Himiko safely???) Makubex seems sad to only be able to watch. Ban gently set Himiko down and sadly faces Kagami. For once he is not cocky in the least just sad.

He comes at Kagami but misses. Kagami responds with a series of hard hits. Kagami almost believes he has easily beaten Ban before Ban seems to wake up greeting Kagami with a hard punch to the stomach. Ban's arm has once again begun to transform and he stands up slowly revealing he is crying tears for Himiko.

(so sad...) Kagami will not get away that easily...to be continued.

WOW, action just happened so fast. I am realy worried now too....well thats all for now. I will try to post for to five more chapters come December (monthly installments). I hope you are all enjoying this!! -*hugs*-
